JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israel and Lebanon on Wednesday launched a second spherical of U.S.-mediated talks over their disputed sea border, an Israeli assertion stated.



Delegations from the long-time foes reconvened at a U.N. peacekeeper base to “assess the potential for reaching an settlement on demarcating the maritime border … in a way enabling the cultivation of pure assets within the space,” Israel’s Power Ministry stated.



The 2 sides held their first spherical of talks on Oct. 14 and are anticipated to carry one other spherical on Thursday, the assertion stated.
